Rapamycin alleviates heart failure via TFEB and CaMKII pathways in Syntaxin 12/13 deficient models. Stx12 deficiency causes heart failure via impaired iron trafficking to mitochondria, reducing respiratory complexes and sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+‐ATPase (SERCA).

Relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma remains a major clinical challenge. This study shows that FOXM1 contributes to resistance against BH3 mimetics in multiple myeloma cells. The FOXM1 inhibitor NB73 enhances the effectiveness of BH3 mimetics by reducing FOXM1 expression and suppressing the MYC pathway.

Rola szlaku CD40/CD40L w biologicznej aktywności płytek krwi. Część I
The main function of blood platelets is their haemostatic role, but recent evidence shows that processes of platelet activation may be sometimes a critical link between haemostasis and development of inflammation.

Regulating Enzyme Activity via Microaggregates Mediated by Phase Separation
An enzyme‐sequestration strategy for combating postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) is developed, employing a D‐peptide called DPMD to induce liquid–solid phase separation (LSPS) of pancreatic proteases. This LSPS‐driven microaggregate approach effectively isolates trypsin and chymotrypsin from their substrates, thereby reducing pancreatic fluid ...
