Prognostic Relevance of Blood Pressure Variability [PDF]
See related article, pp 698–705 Blood pressure (BP) is characterized by marked fluctuations occurring over different time windows (ie, beat to beat [very short term], within 24 hours [short term], day by day [midterm], between visits spaced by weeks or months, and between seasons, years, and even decades [long term]).1 Normally, short-term BP ...

Cuff-less continuous blood pressure monitoring system using pulse transit time techniques [PDF]
This paper describes the development of a continuous cuff-less blood pressure system based on the pulse transit time (PTT) technique. In this study, PTT is defined by two different approaches denoted as PTT1 and PTT2.

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

New concepts in blood pressure variability
A review of the recent literature examines novel concepts in blood pressure variability (BPV) and their possible clinical significance. In our opinion, two approaches are promising, in which the underlying pathophysiological processes are considered in ...

MODERN VIEWS ON THE VARIABILITY OF BLOOD PRESSURE
Nowadays conception of blood pressure (BP) variability (BPV) includes a number of indicators related to various physiological factors. All the indexes are calculated with the standard deviation (SD) or more complex formulas, including SD.
