Plasma/serum protein patterns in human fetuses and infants: a study by high-resolution two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis [PDF]
Plasma/serum proteins of fetal blood samples (N = 88) obtained under ultrasound guidance between the 18th and the 39th week of pregnancy, of blood samples collected from premature infants (N = 19), newborns at term (N = 20) and children of less than 5 ...

Canagliflozin treatment reshapes the gut microbiota in DKD and elevates levels of melibiose, a metabolite derived from Roseburia intestinalis. Melibiose directly binds to and enhances the enzymatic activity of glyoxalase 1, leading to decreased methylglyoxal accumulation.

Icariin promoted the growth of Akk by enhancing the activity of N‐acetylgalactosaminidase (Amuc_0920), which enhanced mucin utilization and provided a favorable nutrient environment for bacterial growth. This icariin‐mediated enrichment of Akk further reshaped the tumor microenvironment and promoted CD8+ T cell infiltration, ultimately synergizing with

Quantitative analysis of microRNA in blood serum with protein-facilitated affinity capillary electrophoresis [PDF]
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small ( 3c22 nt) regulatory RNAs that are frequently deregulated in cancer and have shown promise as tissue- and blood-based biomarkers for cancer classification and prognostication.

m6A‐Mediated Glycolysis by IL‐37 Drives T Cell Metabolic Reprogramming to Regulate Colitis
This study identifies an IL‐37/SIGIRR‐METTL14 regulatory axis that suppresses global m6A modification in CD4+ T cells. IL‐37 signaling, mediated through SIGIRR, inhibits IRAK4 and JNK phosphorylation, leading to downregulation of the methyltransferase METTL14.

HNRNPD promotes radioresistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by enhancing stress granule assembly and sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA. This suppresses GRAMD4 translation and inhibits mitochondrial apoptosis. Targeting the integrated stress response with ISRIB restores GRAMD4 expression and sensitizes tumors to radiotherapy, revealing a translational control ...
