Shaping Ti3C2 MXene Nanospheres for Precision Near‐Infrared Photothermal Therapy
In this study, we report producing spherical MXenes via fs laser fragmentation of Ti3C2 flakes in liquid medium. The nanoparticles demonstrated pronounced light absorption and high photothermal conversion efficiencies of 68% and 63% under heating with NIR‐I and NIR‐II lasers, respectively.

Nitrogen metabolism of the isolated tissues of the rat [PDF]
Little study has been devoted to the anabolic aspects of nitrogen metabolism in animals. The reason, of course, has been the difficulty of obtaining experimental conditions in which these can be observed, measured, and analyzed.

Dietary supplementation of essential oils in dairy cows: evidence for stimulatory effects on nutrient absorption [PDF]
Results of recent in vitro experiments suggest that essential oils (EO) may not only influence ruminal fermentation but also modulate the absorption of cations like Na+, Ca2+ and NH4+ across ruminal epithelia of cattle and sheep through direct ...

Association between serum urea nitrogen levels and prostate-specific antigens (NHANES 2003–2010)
Background Increasing evidence suggests that serum urea nitrogen may be a risk factor for prostate cancer (PCa) and influence serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) concentrations, but direct evidence of a relationship between PSA and serum urea nitrogen ...

A Coulometric Determination of Urea Nitrogen in Blood and Urine
Abstract To determine urea nitrogen, ammonia resulting from urease hydrolysis of urea is titrated with coulometrically generated hypobromite ion using a direct amperometric end-point detection. In blood samples, the ammonia is first separated by the microdiffusion technic. The ammonia may be titrated directly in urine samples.
