Reversal of a cyanobacterial bloom in response to early warnings
Significance Blooms of cyanobacteria in lakes and reservoirs cause fish kills and pose toxicity risk for humans, livestock, and wildlife. Theory suggests that blooms may be anticipated in advance by calculating resilience indicators using high-frequency ...

Capitalism’s Cynical Leviathan: Cynicism, Totalitarianism, and Hobbes in Modern Capitalist Regulation [PDF]
In this paper I have tried to show the symbiotic relationship between discursive systems of totalitarianism and cynicism. Whether speaking of a social Leviathan a la Hobbes or localized capitalist regulation each relies upon the symbiotic combination of ...

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.
