This study investigates the cis‐element in pre‐mRNA recognized by the polyadenylation CFII complex. It elucidates how the CFII complex recognizes the consensus cis‐element downstream of the poly(A) site for pre‐mRNA alternative polyadenylation. This comprehensive research provides novel insights into the interaction between 3′ end processing complexes ...

Bioinspired Brush Reinforced Solid Slippery Coatings for Marine Photovoltaic Protection
Plant cuticles exhibit exceptional liquid repellency and self‐healing properties, providing a novel strategy for the multifunctional self‐cleaning materials. A plant‐inspired solid slippery surface (PI‐SSS) based on surface‐grafted poly(ionic liquid) brushes and lubricating copolymer via ion‐dipole interactions are introduced, effectively protecting ...

Post‐Translational Modifications of TOE3 Regulate Antiviral Defense in Tobacco
CK2αL phosphorylates TOE3 and enhances its stability, while FBXL1 promotes the ubiquitination‐degradation of TOE3 via the 26S proteasome. Compared to CK2αL‐phosphorylated TOE3, nonphosphorylated TOE3 shows a much higher affinity for FBXL1 and is more susceptible to ubiquitination‐degradation, thus facilitating viral infection. The regulatory mechanisms

One‐Step Tunable MoS2 with Enhanced Zn2+ Diffusion for High‐Energy Zinc‐Ion Hybrid Capacitors
A one‐step, scalable method introduces ethylene glycol into MoS2 layers, expanding the interlayer distance from 0.617 to 0.948 nm. This modification enhances the diffusion of hydrated Zn2+ ions, significantly improving charge‐discharge kinetics. Abstract Zinc‐ion hybrid capacitors (ZIHCs) offer a promising solution for large‐scale energy storage ...
