On the blow‐up criterion of 3D Navier‐Stokes equation in [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2019
In this paper, we prove two results about the blow‐up criterion of the three‐dimensional incompressible Navier‐Stokes equation in the Sobolev space . The first one improves the result of Cortissoz et al. The second deals with the relationship of the blow up in and some critical spaces. Fourier analysis and standard techniques are used.

A blow-up result for the periodic Camassa-Hohn equation

open access: yes, 2005
We present a blow-up criterion for the periodic Camassa-Holm equation. The condition obtained for blow-up uses two of the conservation laws associated with the equation and improves upon some recent ...

An Improved Blow-Up Criterion for the Magnetohydrodynamics with the Hall and Ion-Slip Effects

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления, 2021
In this work, we consider the magnetohydrodynamics system with the Hall and ion-slip effects in R3. The main result is a sufficient condition for regularity on a time interval [0,T] expressed in terms ∞,∞ of the norm of the homogeneous Besov space B˙∞,∞0{

Logarithmically improved blow-up criterion for smooth solutions to the Leray-$\alpha $-magnetohydrodynamic equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
summary:In this paper, the Cauchy problem for the $3D$ Leray-$\alpha $-MHD model is investigated. We obtain the logarithmically improved blow-up criterion of smooth solutions for the Leray-$\alpha $-MHD model in terms of the magnetic field $B$ only in ...

Wave-breaking for two-component Fornberg-Whitham systems with dissipation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations
In this article, we study the Cauchy problem for a two-component Fornberg-Whitham (2FW) system in fluid dynamics, incorporating a dissipation term to account for energy loss.

Spatial and single‐nuclei transcriptomics reveals idiosyncratic and generic patterns in papillary and anaplastic thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

Mechanics of Telson Ridges in Mantis Shrimp for Impact Analysis and Implications for Bioinspired Elastic Shell Designs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The mantis shrimp telson reveals how ridged biological shields control deformation under impact. Inspired by this architecture, telson‐inspired ridged curved shells transform ridge geometry and macroscopic curvature into bidirectional snap‐through, tunable stiffness, and enhanced hysteretic energy dissipation for multifunctional architected materials ...

High‐Modulus Skeleton‐Reinforced PDMS Microstamps for Precision Transfer Printing of Microscale Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Elastomeric micropillars bend under contact loading, sliding microscale devices out of alignment during transfer printing. A hybrid PDMS stamp embeds a high‐modulus skeleton within each pillar while retaining a compliant contact surface. The reinforcement confines pillar deformation, suppressing interfacial sliding and preserving array registration on ...

Bounds for blow-up time in a semilinear pseudo-parabolic equation with nonlocal source

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
This paper considers the following semilinear pseudo-parabolic equation with a nonlocal source: u t − △ u t − △ u = u p ( x , t ) ∫ Ω k ( x , y ) u p + 1 ( y , t ) d y , $$ u_{t}-\triangle u_{t}-\triangle u=u^{p}(x,t) \int_{\Omega}k(x,y)u^{p+1}(y,t)\,dy,
