Disjoint diskcyclicity of weighted shifts

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2022
In this article, we will discuss disjoint diskcyclicity for finitely many operators acting on a separable, infinite dimensional Fréchet space XX. More precisely, we provide disjoint disk blow-up/collapse property and disjoint diskcyclicity criterion.

Synthesis of Bulk Superconducting LiNbO2 Crystals Through CaH2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CaH2 reduction reconstructively transforms insulating LiNbO3 single crystals into superconducting bulk LiNbO2 with a critical temperature of Tc = 14.4 K. Scanning electron microscopy reveals large‐volume, high‐yield phase conversion. Magnetization measurements demonstrate a robust ∼ 77% Meissner shielding fraction, establishing bulk superconductivity ...

Biomass DNA: An Emerging Building Block for Advanced Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Biomass DNA is rapidly emerging from its traditional role as a genetic blueprint to serve as a versatile abundant, highly programmable polymeric building block. This review highlights the transformation of macroscopic bulk biomass DNA into next generation of functional materials, spanning from dynamic hydrogels, sustainable bioplastics, and high ...

Blow-up of solutions for a system of nonlinear parabolic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2013
The initial boundary value problem for a system of parabolic equations in a bounded domain is considered. We prove that, under suitable conditions on the nonlinearity and certain initial data, the lower bound for the blow-up time is determined if blow-

Global existence and finite time blow-up of solutions to a nonlocal p-Laplace equation

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2019
In this paper a class of nonlocal diffusion equations associated with a p-Laplace operator, usually referred to as p-Kirchhoff equations, are studied.

A LOGARITHMALLY IMPROVED BLOW-UP CRITERION OF SMOOTH SOLUTIONS FOR THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL MHD EQUATIONS

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper we investigate the Cauchy problem for the three-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. A logarithmal improved blow-up criterion of smooth solutions is obtained.

A blow-up criterion for the strong solutions to the nonhomogeneous Navier-Stokes-Korteweg equations in dimension three [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
summary:This paper proves a Serrin's type blow-up criterion for the 3D density-dependent Navier-Stokes-Korteweg equations with vacuum. It is shown that if the density $\rho $ and velocity field $u$ satisfy $\|\nabla \rho \|_{L^{\infty }(0,T; W^{1,q})} + \

Control of Bacterial Attachment on Macroporous PDMS/Paraffin SLIPS With Varying Lubricant Viscosity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Slippery liquid‐infused porous surfaces (SLIPS) prepared from macroporous PDMS, infused with medical‐grade paraffins, were systematically investigated regarding the correlation of viscosity, surface corrugation, bulk porosity, and bacterial resistance. Substrate porosity was found to dominate lubricant stabilization and the antifouling activity.

Blow-up criterion for strong solutions to the two-dimensional compressible two-phase MHD equations with vacuum in a bounded domain

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
This paper investigates a blow-up criterion for strong solutions to the Dirichlet problem of a compressible isentropic two-phase flow model under the influence of a magnetic field, allowing initial vacuum states.

Blow-up of strong solutions of the Thermal Quasi-Geostrophic equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
The Thermal Quasi-Geostrophic (TQG) equation is a coupled system of equations that governs the evolution of the buoyancy and the potential vorticity of a fluid. It has a local in time solution as proved in [4].
