Blue jack mackerel (Trachurus picturatus) in Subdivision Xa2 (Azores)
This is the first time that ICES analyses data for Trachurus picturatus in the waters of the Azores. The lpue indices show increasing trends, but the exploitation status is unknown, therefore on the basis of precautionary considerations, catches should not be allowed to increase.
