Saacke Gas Combustion Unit -Safety and Economical Backup for Boil-Off Gas Treatment
Until recently, LNG carriers have been equipped with steam propulsion systems. Boil-Off Gas (BOG) is then fired in the steam generating plant by dual fuel burners. When the amount of BOG is greater than required for propulsion, excess steam is dumped into the main condenser of the steam turbine and cooled down.

Unravelling the Secret of Sulfur Confinement and High Sulfur Utilization in Hybrid Sulfur‐Carbons
Thermal condensation of inverse vulcanized sulfur‐carbon hybrids enables a bottom‐up sulfur confinement strategy, in which a protective carbon phase is progressively constructed around sulfur species. The resulting carbon nanodomains covalently tether sulfur chains and stabilize radical intermediates. This integrated architecture effectively suppresses

Computer Aided Design for the Recovery of Boil-Off Gas from LNG Plant
Boil-Off Gas creation and usage has been a source of worry in Liquefied Natural Gas value supply chain. BOG is generated when there is temperature gradient between the environment and LNG temperature within the carrier tank, process lines or vessels. In this work, Computer Aided Design for the recovery of BOG from flare in an LNG Plant considered the ...

Artificial Symbiosis for Bulk Production of Bacterial Cellulose Composites
Co‐cultivation of the cellulose‐producing bacterium with the microalga enables bulk formation of bacterial cellulose under static incubation, with photosynthetically active oxygen‐generating sites throughout the medium. This symbiotic platform supports 3D cellulosic constructs with geometries dictated by the vessel shape.

Analisis Pemanfaatan Boil-Off Gas Sebagai Bahan Bakar Kapal Pengangkut Gas

Results from the First Science Run of the ZEPLIN-III Dark Matter Search Experiment [PDF]
The ZEPLIN-III experiment in the Palmer Underground Laboratory at Boulby uses a 12kg two-phase xenon time projection chamber to search for the weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) that may account for the dark matter of our Galaxy.

Ionic epoxy networks are prepared using ammonium salts as hardeners, leading to a two‐stage curing process with a thermoplastic‐like intermediate. This uncommon behavior enables extrusion and fabrication of thermoplastic prepregs that can be cured into thermoset composites.
