Influence of Adherend Surface Roughness on the Adhesive Bond Strength
SURFACE TREATMENT OF THE ADHERENDS PRIOR TO ADHESIVE BONDING PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE ENHANCING OF STRENGTH AND DURABILITY OF BONDED JOINTS. IN THIS WORK, AN INVESTIGATION ON EFFECT OF ADHEREND SURFACE ROUGHNESS ON ADHESIVE BOND STRENGTH WAS ...

We present the cellular transcription‐coupled Flp‐nick system allowing the introduction of a Top1‐mimicking cleavage complex (Flpcc) at a Flp recognition target site within a controllable LacZ gene. LacZ transcription leads to the collision of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) with Flpcc, and this causes RNAPII stalling, ubiquitination, and degradation.

We achieved cytoplasmic delivery of non‐cell‐penetrating IgGs by grafting a single functional complementarity‐determining region 1 (CDR1) from the light chain variable region (VL) of the cell‐internalizable 3D8 antibody. The engineered IgG acquired cell‐penetrating ability while maintaining antigen affinity, highlighting CDR1 grafting as a promising ...

Hydrogen bond analysis of confined water in mesoporous silica using the reactive force field [PDF]
The structural and dynamical properties of water confined in nanoporous silica with a pore diameter of 2.7 nm were investigated by performing large-scale molecular dynamics simulations using the reactive force field. The radial distribution function and diffusion coefficient of water were calculated, and the values at the center of the pore agreed well
