Shaping Carbon Nitrides for Advanced Macrostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review examines how carbon nitride can be shaped through a range of printing and interfacial assembly methods. By bringing together additive manufacturing and liquid–liquid structuring concepts, carbon nitride is moving beyond its traditional powder‐based photocatalyst form toward digitally designed robust macroscale architectures with high design

HUMAN MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS AS A MODEL OF STUDY FOR NEW BIOMATERIALS IN BONE TISSUE REGENERATION

open access: yes, 2012
The reconstruction of large bone segments remains a critical clinical problem in the case of extensive bone loss due to traumatic or pathological events. Due to its ideal biocompatibility and osteogenic properties, autologous bone is still considered the

Haematopoietic and Osteogenic Bone Marrow Stem Cells

open access: yesOrtopedia Traumatologia Rehabilitacja, 2011
This article discusses the concept of a common stem cell for bone marrow stromal cells and haematopoietic cells. Until recently it was generally accepted that bone marrow contains two types of stem cells. One is the haemopoietic stem cell; the second one, the mesenchymal stem cell or stromal stem cell, gives rise to the stromal compartment of the ...

Spatiotemporal Sequential Delivery of Chidamide Regulates Macrophage Reprogramming in Lymphoma Microenvironment Through HDACs‐STAT3 Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study identifies the HDACs‐STAT3 axis as key regulator for M2 macrophage accumulation in DLBCL. We developed Chid@M2pep‐EVs/TP, a pH‐responsive drug delivery system for M2 macrophage specific chidamide administration. By coupling M2‐targeted chidamide with EVs‐mediated delivery, this system reprograms M2 to M1 via HDAC inhibition and STAT3 ...

Mesenchymal Stromal Cell‐Mediated Intercellular Communication: Mapping the Interactome for Skeletal Muscle Homeostasis and Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Liu et al. define a systems‐level interactome of fibroadipogenic progenitor (FAP)‐mediated signaling in skeletal muscle by integrating single‐cell transcriptomics with FAP depletion‐based perturbation analysis. Functional interrogation using a conditioned media bioassay links predicted signaling to multicellular outcomes, establishing a framework to ...

Cardiac Specific Gene Expression Changes in Long Term Culture of Murine Mesenchymal Stem Cells

open access: yes, 2011
Murine MSCs are a readily available source of adult stem cells enabling extensive in vitro study of this cell population. MSCs have been described as multipotent, and have been proven capable of differentiation into several connective tissue types ...

CDK4/6 Inhibition Induces CD8+ T Cell Antitumor Immunity via MIF‐Induced Functional Orchestration of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.
