An Integrated Derived Boost-Flyback Converter for fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles

2013 1st International Future Energy Electronics Conference (IFEEC), 2013
In this paper, An Integrated Derived Boost-Flyback Converter with high voltage gain and reduced switch stress is proposed. It was used by fuel cell for hybrid electric vehicle applications. The proposed topology combines derived boost and flyback converters with a coupling inductor technique, which is able to achieve high voltage gain.

Highly efficient and compact Sepic-Boost-Flyback integrated converter with multiple outputs

2016 International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication, Power and Embedded System (SCOPES), 2016
This paper proposes a topology of single input multiple-output DC-DC converter by integrating Sepic, Flyback and Boost configuration, whose individual outputs when series connected, results in very high DC-DC conversion ratio. The salient features of the proposed topology are less number of components resulting in a compact structure, less voltage ...

New Five-Level Double-Flying-Capacitor Inverter Fed by a Boost-Flyback Converter

2020 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2020
A new five level inverter with six main inverter switches and two flying capacitors is proposed. A DC-DC boost-flyback converter (BFC) supplies the DC-link and also the two flying capacitors voltages. The principle used results in the smallest thermal stress and losses when compared with other investigated five-level topologies with reduced device ...

CCM-DCM Operation of a High Voltage Gain Boost-Flyback Derived Converter

2018 IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics, Drives and Energy Systems (PEDES), 2018
This paper presents a modified boost-flyback converter (BFC). Voltage doubler structure (VDS) is added to the coupled inductor secondary to enhance the voltage gain. Moreover, zero ripple boost cell (ZRBC) is incorporated to make the input current ripple free which is a desired feature for weak source renewable energy applications like photovoltaic (PV)

High-gain Boost-Boost-Flyback converter for renewable energy sources applications

2015 IEEE 13th Brazilian Power Electronics Conference and 1st Southern Power Electronics Conference (COBEP/SPEC), 2015
In this paper, a non-isolated step-up high-gain DC-DC converter for renewable energy sources applications is proposed. The circuit is composed by a conventional Boost stage and a Boost-Flyback stage, thereby it is possible to attain a high-voltage gain without compromising the converter efficiency.

High power factor integrated buck-boost flyback converter driving multiple outputs

2015 Online International Conference on Green Engineering and Technologies (IC-GET), 2015
This paper proposes an integrated single-stage ac-to-dc light-emitting-diode (LED) driver circuit. A buck-boost power factor (PF) corrector is integrated with a flyback converter. A recycling path is built to recover the inductive leakage energy. The proposed circuit provides high PF and low total harmonic distortion.

An Improved Single‐Stage Boost–Flyback PFC Converter Based on Magnetic Control

International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications
ABSTRACT Single‐stage boost–flyback power factor correction (PFC) converter often encounters challenges such as high voltage of the intermediate capacitor, low power factor (PF), and high total harmonic distortion (THD) of input current, especially when input voltage is high.
