Design of boost-flyback converter with small capacitor for energy-storage
This paper presents the idea of utilizing large voltage ripple with small capacitance for energy storage in LED circuit, instead of large capacitance with small voltage ripple. A typical Single-Stage PFC converter with small capacitor is adopted.

Interleaved boost-flyback converter with boundary conduction mode for power factor correction
This paper presents a new interleaved pulse-width modulation (PWM) boost-flyback converter to achieve power factor correction (PFC) and regulate DC bus voltage. The adopted boost-flyback converter has a high voltage conversion ratio to overcome the limit of conventional boost or buck-boost converter with narrow turn-off period.

Soft-switched PWM high-frequency with PFC converter using boost-flyback converter interleaved
This paper proposes as a power factor correction pre regulator converter an AC-DC interleaved boost-flyback using a nondissipative snubber and operating at 100 kHz per cell. That is composed by switches working in ZCS and ZVS way, controlled by PWM. By using interleaved converters, an overall reduction of the boost inductor can be obtained, reducing ...

High power factor integrated buck-boost flyback converter driving multiple outputs
This paper proposes an integrated single-stage ac-to-dc light-emitting-diode (LED) driver circuit. A buck-boost power factor (PF) corrector is integrated with a flyback converter. A recycling path is built to recover the inductive leakage energy. The proposed circuit provides high PF and low total harmonic distortion.
