Photogenerated Oxetanes as a Gateway to Uphill Cyclopropanation
An atom‐economical route to densely functionalized cyclopropanes from furans and photochemically activated aldehydes is enabled by a unique oxetane‐to‐cyclopropane rearrangement. These cyclopropanes can be used to access complex bioactive scaffolds and serve as a platform for asymmetric cyclopropane synthesis.

Heats of hydrolysis and formation of potassium borohydride
The heat of reaction of potassium borohydride with 0.060 molal HCI has been measured by solution calorimetry. The heat of solution of the hydrolysis products has also been measured and combined with certain literature values to calculate the process ...

CHEMICALLY MODIFIED PHOTOSYNTHETIC BACTERIAL REACTION CENTERS: CIRCULAR DICHROISM, RAMAN RESONANCE, LOW TEMPERATURE ABSORPTION, FLUORESCENCE AND ODMR SPECTRA AND POLYPEPTIDE COMPOSITION OF BOROHYDRIDE TREATED REACTION CENTERS FROM Rhodobacter sphaeroides R26 [PDF]
Reaction centers from Rhodobacter sphaeroides have been modified by treatment with sodium borohydride similar to the original procedure [Ditson et al., Biochim. Biophys. Acta 766, 623 (1984)], and investigated spectroscopically and by gel electrophoresis.
