NH Bond Activation of Hydrazine Using Cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbenes and Boranes
We report the reactivity of cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbenes (cAACs) with hydrazine derivatives. EtcAAC (1) activates the NH bond of phenyl‐substituted hydrazine derivatives, while analogous reactions with unsubstituted hydrazine (N2H4) were not tractable.
