Supported Co catalysts prepared as thin films by magnetron sputtering for sodium borohydride and ammonia borane hydrolysis [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Catalysis B: Environmental, 2014
Supported Co catalysts were prepared for sodium borohydride and ammonia borane hydrolysis by magnetron sputtering for the first time under different conditions. Ni foam was selected as support.

Sulfurized metal borohydrides

Dalton Transactions, 2016
The reactions between metal borohydrides and elemental sulfur are investigatedin situduring thermal treatment and are found to be highly exothermic (up to 700 J g−1).

Complex of aluminum borohydride with calcium borohydride

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1975
1. The reaction of Al(BH4)3 with the unsolvated Ca(BH4)2 gave the complex Ca(BH4)2·Al(BH4)3, which is stable at room temperature; its density and IR spectrum are given. 2. Ca(BH4)2·Al(BH4)3 decomposes completely into the component borohydrides when heated in vacuo or when treated with donor solvents.

Calcium Borohydride

Synthetic Communications, 1995
Calcium borohydride reduces both aliphatic and aromatic esters to alcohols completely in the presence of alkene catalysts. The intermediate borates formed during the reduction of aromatic esters are converted to aldehydes with aqueous NaOC1 in good yields.

The reaction of aluminum borohydride with tetraethylammonium borohydride

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1970
1. A complex borohydridoaluminate, [(C2H5)4N][Al(BH4)4] has been prepared by the reaction of aluminium borohydride with tetraethylammonium borohydride at room temperature. Its IR spectrum and x-ray photograph have been investigated. 2. The complex decomposes with the evolution of H2, C2H6, (C2H5)3N, metallic aluminum, and boron over the ...

Tetrabutylammonium borohydride and its complex with aluminum borohydride

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1971
1. Tetrabutylammonium borohydride was obtained by the exchange reaction of tetrabutylammonium bromide with excess sodium borohydride in ether isopropyl alcohol or benzene medium. 2. Tetrabutylammonium borohydride aluminate, [(C4H9)4N] [Al(BH4)4], was synthesized by the reaction of the tetrabutylammonium and aluminum borohydrides.
