Photogenerated Oxetanes as a Gateway to Uphill Cyclopropanation
An atom‐economical route to densely functionalized cyclopropanes from furans and photochemically activated aldehydes is enabled by a unique oxetane‐to‐cyclopropane rearrangement. These cyclopropanes can be used to access complex bioactive scaffolds and serve as a platform for asymmetric cyclopropane synthesis.

A gold-coated titanium oxide nanotube array for the oxidation of borohydride ions
Highly ordered titanium dioxide nanotube (≈ 100–200 nm pore diameter) arrays, were formed on a titanium foil by anodising at a cell voltage of 60 V, in two stages. The nanotube arrays were over-coated with nanoparticulate gold using physical vapour deposition (PVD) sputtering resulting in a well dispersed coating.

However, it has long been reported that SFAs can undergo oxidation when heated at high temperatures, leading to the formation of unique degradation products such as 2‐alkanones and lactones.

Borohydride electro-oxidation by Ag-doped lanthanum chromites
The electrocatalytic activity of Ag-doped lanthanum chromites electrode materials viz., LaCr0.4Ag0.6O3 and LaCr0.7Ag0.3O3 prepared by decomposing the precursor complex is studied. Pure LaCrO3 is synthesized by combustion route using oxalic acid as a fuel.
