Dopant Distribution in Ga‐Implanted CdO—A Correlative Microscopy and Molecular Dynamics Study
This work demonstrates that ion implantation offset angle could modulate carrier concentration and mobility in cadmium oxide thin films. Combining correlative microscopy workflow and molecular dynamics simulations, this study reveals the control of interfacial cluster density with tailoring implantation angles, and the optimum offset angle that ...

Investigation of Properties of Asphalt Concrete Containing Boron Waste as Mineral Filler
During the manufacture of compounds in the boron mining industry a large quantity of waste boron is produced which has detrimental effects on the environment. Large areas have to be allocated for the disposal of this waste.

A systematic review is conducted to assess the influence of electrode architecture across micro‐ to mesoscopic length scales on electron‐transfer pathways in electrocatalysis. We discuss the structure‐activity relationships in electrocatalytic applications, including resource recovery and environmental remediation, and provide cost‐effective, efficient

Molecular rotors are fluorescent molecules that are sensitive to viscosity and temperature variations in the environment. They exhibit a direct correlation between fluorescence and viscosity within Newtonian fluids. However, this correlation becomes less straightforward in complex systems.

A tubular electrowetting pump moves alternating droplets through a millimeter‐wide channel in discrete, reversible steps, functioning as a fluidic stepper motor. With no moving parts and electrodes insulated from the liquid, it delivers silent, accurate flow. Flexibility allows the pump to be woven directly into textiles for wearable, medical, and soft‐

Boron delivery agents for neutron capture therapy of cancer
Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) is a binary radiotherapeutic modality based on the nuclear capture and fission reactions that occur when the stable isotope, boron-10, is irradiated with neutrons to produce high energy alpha particles.

Boron-containing compounds for medical applications
This thesis discusses the development - syntheses and preliminary biological tests – of new potential boron delivery agents for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) and boron-containing drug analogs. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 describe the main project of the thesis concerning the synthesis of boron-delivery agents for a BNCT guided by Positron Emission ...

Spin Dynamics in the van der Waals Ferromagnet CrTe2 Engineered by Niobium Doping
Spin‐dynamic magnetic properties of van der Waals (vdW) ferromagnet 1T‐CrTe2 are tuned via niobium (Nb) as Cr1‐xNbxTe2 (x = 0–0.2). Nb doping enables wide‐band tuning of the resonance frequency from 40 GHz down to the few‐GHz regime, accompanied by a moderate increase in the Gilbert damping from ∼0.066 to ∼0.14.
