Selective Borylation of C(sp3)−H Bond of Methyl Ethers Catalyzed by Iron Complexes Bearing Anionic Benzene‐Based PCP‐Pincer Ligands

open access: yesChemistryEurope
Highly selective catalytic C(sp3)−H borylation of methoxy groups has been achieved using newly synthesized iron complexes bearing benzene‐based PCP‐type pincer ligands as catalysts. Reactions of various aryl and alkyl methyl ethers as substrates with bis(

An Improved Iron‐Catalyzed Versatile CH Functionalization via Ligand‐Tuned Ligand‐to‐Metal Charge Transfer Catalysts

open access: yesChemPhotoChem, Volume 10, Issue 9, September 2026.
We developed an efficient LMCT catalytic system based on a bipyridine‐ligated iron trichloride complex for the activation and functionalization of nonactivated C─H bonds. Upon visible‐light irradiation, alkanes, amides, toluene derivatives, ketones, ethers, aldehydes, and alcohols were activated and functionalized.

Dual Photoredox/Cobalt Catalysis Enabled Regiospecific Markovnikov Hydroboration of Unactivated Mono-, Di-, and Trisubstituted Alkenes

open access: yesNature Communications
Hydroboration of alkenes constitutes an important synthetic tool to assemble valuable alkylboron molecules. Although various protocols have been developed, the regiospecific Markovnikov reactions of unactivated alkenes, in particular for trisubstituted ...

Stereoselective and Diastereospecific Aminosilylation and Hydrosilylation of Heterobicyclic Alkenes by Copper Catalysis Under Mild Conditions

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 33, 1 September 2026.
An efficient and straightforward methodology for the stereoselective and diastereospecific aminosilylation and hydrosilylation of heterobicyclic norbornene derivatives is introduced. The mild conditions enable the functionalization of norbornene substrates with broad functional‐group tolerance.

Transforming cyclopropanes to enamides via σ-C–C bond eliminative borylation

open access: yesNature Communications
Recent strides in C–H borylation have significantly expanded our toolkit for the preparation of organoboronates. Nevertheless, avenues alternative to obtain these compounds via σ-C–C cleavage, thereby facilitating molecular scaffold editing, remain ...

Heteroatom location‐ and orientation mode‐dependent reverse intersystem crossing rate in multiple resonance emitters

open access: yesFlexMat, Volume 3, Issue 3, Page 368-381, September 2026.
By constructing two pairs of isomers with different heteroatom anchoring positions, the relationship between heteroatom location and orientation mode and reverse intersystem crossing rate constant (kRISC) in multiple resonance (MR) emitters is systematically investigated.

Dibenzofuran‐Modulated Narrowband Red MR‐TADF Emitters for BT.2020 OLEDs With Ultralow Roll‐Off and Long Lifetime

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 50, 7 September 2026.
A materials‐to‐device strategy enabling high‐efficiency, longer‐lifetime narrowband red OLEDs. Dibenzofuran‐integrated BNO MR‐TADF emitters provide tunable red emission (611–633 nm) with high color purity. Exciplex‐assisted PSF devices achieve 31.6% EQE, <1% roll‐off at 5000 cd m−2, and LT90 584 h @ 5000 cd/m2.
