COVID-19 Predeparture Test Results and Vaccination Coverage among US-Bound Refugees, 2020–2022

open access: yesEmerging Infectious Diseases
We describe predeparture COVID-19 test positivity and vaccination coverage for US-bound refugees. During November 24, 2020–June 11, 2022, a total of 23,972 refugees received 28,465 tests (87% reverse transcription PCR); 2.6% of refugees tested positive.

Testing $C_k$-freeness in bounded-arboricity graphs

open access: yes
We study the problem of testing $C_k$-freeness ($k$-cycle-freeness) for fixed constant $k > 3$ in graphs with bounded arboricity (but unbounded degrees). In particular, we are interested in one-sided error algorithms, so that they must detect a copy of $C_k$ with high constant probability when the graph is $ε$-far from $C_k$-free.

Local cohomology bounds and test ideals

open access: yes, 2019
We find sufficient conditions which imply equality of the finitistic test ideal and test ideal in rings of prime characteristic. Utilizing recent progress from the prime characteristic minimal model program we equate the notions of $F$-regular and strongly $F$-regular for 4-dimensional rings essentially of finite type over a field of prime ...

Statistical resolution limit for the multidimensional harmonic retrieval model: hypothesis test and Cramér-Rao Bound approaches

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2011
The statistical resolution limit (SRL), which is defined as the minimal separation between parameters to allow a correct resolvability, is an important statistical tool to quantify the ultimate performance for parametric estimation problems.

Bounded exhaustive generation of tests in model-based testing

open access: yes, 2021
There are some systems (or parts of systems) that are very critical and need especially good test suites to test them. For these critical systems, exhaustive testing may be a good way to test them. Thus, we have implemented two versions of bounded exhaustive search (BES) algorithms in a model-based testing tool called, Modbat.
