We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Discrete Transparent Boundary Conditions for Parabolic Equations [PDF]
) = u(0; t); v(\Gamma1; t) = 0; (Tu)(t) := v x (0; t); (2) for x ! 0 and couple it with (1) by the assumption that u, u x are continuous across the artificial boundary at x = 0. Since the initial data vanishes for x !

Introduction. A feature of quasi-static calculation of plane electromagnetic fields is unlimited volume occupied by the current. This condition imposes certain requirements on the choice of boundary conditions for solving such problems (the vanishing of ...

New results and applications on the existence results for nonlinear coupled systems
In this manuscript, we study a certain classical second-order fully nonlinear coupled system with generalized nonlinear coupled boundary conditions satisfying the monotone assumptions.

We present existence and uniqueness results for a class of higher order anti-periodic fractional boundary value problems with Riesz space derivative which is two-sided fractional operator.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

General tooth boundary conditions for equation free modeling [PDF]
© 2007 Society for Industrial and Applied MathematicsWe are developing a framework for multiscale computation which enables models at a "microscopic" level of description, for example, lattice Boltzmann, Monte Carlo, or molecular dynamics simulators, to ...

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Thermodynamically admissible boundary conditions for the regularized 13 moment equations [PDF]
A phenomenological approach to the boundary conditions for linearized R13 equations is derived using the second law of thermodynamics. The phenomenological coefficients appearing in the boundary conditions are calculated by comparing the slip, jump ...
