Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Approximate Solution of an Optimal Control Dot Mobile Problem for a Nonlinear Hyperbolic Equation

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2014
In this article, we consider the approximate solution of an optimal control dot mobile problem for a system of nonlinear partial hyperbolic and ordinary differential equations with initial and boundary value conditions and a nonlinear optimality ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

System of singular integral equations in the problem of electromagnetic oscillations of a graphene-coated dielectric ball

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений. Поволжский регион: Физико-математические науки
Background. Boundary value transmission problems for a system of Maxwell's equations are fundamental in electrodynamics. Recently, there has been interest in problems involving the presence of a thin layer of graphene on the surface, which changes the ...

High-Order Integral Equation Methods for Diffraction Problems Involving Screens and Apertures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis presents a novel approach for the numerical solution of problems of diffraction by infinitely thin screens and apertures. The new methodology relies on combination of weighted versions of the classical operators associated with the Dirichlet ...
