Topological boundaries of covariant representations
We associate a boundary $\mathcal B_{\pi ,u}$ to each covariant representation $(\pi ,u,H)$ of a $C^*$-dynamical system $(G,A,\alpha )$ and study the action of $G$ on $\mathcal B_{\pi ,u}$ and its amenability properties. We relate rigidity properties of traces on the associated crossed product $C^*$-algebra to faithfulness of the action of the group on

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION METHOD BASED ON SIMP-MMC FOR STRUCTURE SIZE PRECISE CONTROL
With the development of structural topology optimization methods, some scholars had proposed strategies to integrate existing topology optimization methods to improve the manufacturability of topology optimization result.

Ishibashi states, topological orders with boundaries and topological entanglement entropy. Part II. Cutting through the boundary [PDF]
Abstract We compute the entanglement entropy in a 2+1 dimensional topological order in the presence of gapped boundaries. Specifically, we consider entanglement cuts that cut through the boundaries. We argue that based on general considerations of the bulk- boundary correspondence, the “twisted characters” feature in the Renyi ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Topology of the Misner space and its $$g$$ g -boundary [PDF]
The Misner space is a simplified $2$-dimensional model of the $4$-dimensional Taub-NUT space that reproduces some of its pathological behaviours. In this paper we provide an explicit base of the topology of the complete Misner space $\mathbb{R}^{1,1}/boost$.

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Multipartite entanglement and topology in holography
Starting from the entanglement wedge of a multipartite mixed state we describe a purification procedure which involves the gluing of several copies. The resulting geometry has non-trivial topology and a single oriented boundary for each original boundary
