We give negative answer to the question of Bordulyak and Sheremeta for more general classes of entire functions than in the original formulation: Does index boundedness in joint variables for an entire function F imply index boundedness in the variable ...

Bounded Variation on the Sierpinski Gasket [PDF]
Under certain continuity conditions, we estimate upper and lower box dimension of graph of a function defined on the Sierpinski gasket. We also give an upper bound for Hausdorff dimension and box dimension of graph of function having finite energy.

miRNAâ29 regulates epidermal and mesenchymal functions in skin repair
miRNAâ29 inhibits cellâtoâcell and cellâtoâmatrix adhesion by silencing mRNA targets. Adhesion is controlled by complex interactions between many types of molecules coded by mRNAs. This is crucial for keeping together the layers of the skin and for regenerating the skin after wounding.

. A novel approach to consider additional spatial information in flood frequency analyses, especially for the estimation of discharges with recurrence intervals larger than 100 years, is presented. For this purpose, large flood quantiles, i.e. pairs of a

We present the cellular transcriptionâcoupled Flpânick system allowing the introduction of a Top1âmimicking cleavage complex (Flpcc) at a Flp recognition target site within a controllable LacZ gene. LacZ transcription leads to the collision of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) with Flpcc, and this causes RNAPII stalling, ubiquitination, and degradation.

Interaction extracellular vesicles (iEVs) are hybrid vesicles formed through hostâpathogen communication. They facilitate immune evasion, transfer pathogens' molecules, increase host cell uptake, and enhance virulence. This Perspective article illustrates the multifunctional roles of iEVs and highlights their emerging relevance in infection dynamics ...

Mutations in polycystinâ1 (PC1) or polycystinâ2 (PC2) cause autosomalâdominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). We generated a novel gainâofâfunction PC2/PC1 heteromeric ion channel by mutating poreâblocking residues. Moreover, we demonstrated that PC2 will preferentially assemble with PC1 to form heteromeric complexes when PC1 is coâexpressed ...

Bounds for an integral involving the modified Lommel function of the first kind [PDF]
Simple upper and lower bounds are established for the integral $\int_0^x\mathrm{e}^{-\beta u}u^\nu t_{\mu,\nu}(u)\,\mathrm{d}u$, where $x>0$, $0<\beta<1$, $\mu+\nu>-2$, $\mu-\nu\geq-3$, and $t_{\mu,\nu}(x)$ is the modified Lommel function of the first kind.

On rational bounds for the gamma function [PDF]
In the article, we prove that the double inequality [Formula: see text] holds for all [Formula: see text], we present the best possible constants λ and Ό such that [Formula: see text] for all [Formula: see text], and we find the value of [Formula: see text] in the interval [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see text] and ...
