A bounded index test for robust heterogeneous welfare comparisons
Fleurbaey, Hagneré and Trannoy (2003) develop a bounded dominance test to make robust welfare comparisons, which is intermediate between Ebert’s (1999) cardinal dominance criterion –generalized Lorenz dominance applied to household incomes, divided and ...

Mostar index and bounded maximum degree
Došlić et al. defined the Mostar index of a graph $G$ as $Mo(G)=\sum\limits_{uv\in E(G)}|n_G(u,v)-n_G(v,u)|$, where, for an edge $uv$ of $G$, the term $n_G(u,v)$ denotes the number of vertices of $G$ that have a smaller distance in $G$ to $u$ than to $v$.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Measuring the Socio-Economic Bipolarization Phenomenon
The present paper emphasizes the differences between the Gini concentration coefficient [13] and a new bipolarization index proposed by [20], [21]. In practice, the Gini index is applied frequently to determine the poverty degree of the persons of a ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Supersloppy Readings: Indexicals as Bound Descriptions
AbstractThis article explores understudied dependent readings in (English) ellipsis and focus constructions and their theoretical consequences. The main focus is on “supersloppy” readings of person indexicals in VP-ellipsis, in which you can be bound by I and vice versa.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Nonlinear maps preserving Drazin invertible operators of bounded index
Given an integer n ≥1, we provide a complete description of all bijective bicontinuous maps, on the algebra of all bounded linear operators acting on an innite-dimensional complex or real Banach space, that preserve the difference of Drazin invertible ...

Weakly q-Convex Domains and Bounded q-Subharmonic Exhaustion Functions
We generalize the Diederich-Fornaess index to bounded weakly q-convex domains with bounded q-subharmonic exhaustion functions. Sufficient conditions for this generalized Diederich-Fornæss index to have a given lower bound are proved.
