On the boundedness of topological categories [PDF]
Let K be a complete and cocomplete category with a given proper (E,M)-factorization. K is called well-bounded if K is moreover bounded with a generator and cowellpowered with respect to the given factorization. Freyd-Kelly proved the following theorem about well-bounded categories: Let K be a well-bounded category and let Γ be a class of cylinders in ...

Presurgery 72‐h fasting in GB patients leads to adaptations of plasma lipids and polar metabolites. Fasting reduces lysophosphatidylcholines and increases free fatty acids, shifts triglycerides toward long‐chain TGs and increases branched‐chain amino acids, alpha aminobutyric acid, and uric acid.

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Verification of Computing Grids with Special Edge Conditions by Infinite Petri Nets
A technique of the computing grid verification using invariants of infinite Petri nets was presented. Models of square grid structures in the form of parametric Petri nets for such edge conditions as connection of edges and truncated devices were ...

The molecular characterization of anisotropic Herz-type Hardy spaces with two variable exponents
In this article, the authors establish the characterizations of a class of anisotropic Herz-type Hardy spaces with two variable exponents associated with a non-isotropic dilation on ℝn{{\mathbb{R}}}^{n} in terms of molecular decompositions.

Elevated level of cholesterol is positively correlated to prostate cancer development and disease severity. Cholesterol‐lowering drugs, such as statins, are demonstrated to inhibit prostate cancer. VNPP433‐3β interrupts multiple signaling and metabolic pathways, including cholesterol biosynthesis, AR‐mediated transcription of several oncogenes, mRNA 5′

On Rado's Boundedness Conjecture
AbstractWe prove that Rado's Boundedness Conjecture from Richard Rado's 1933 famous dissertation Studien zur Kombinatorik is true if it is true for homogeneous equations. We then prove the first nontrivial case of Rado's Boundedness Conjecture: if a1, a2, and a3 are integers, and if for every 24-coloring of the positive integers (or even the nonzero ...

Continuability and boundedness of solutions to nonlinear second-order differential equations
Continuability, boundedness, and monotonicity of solutions for a class of second-order nonlinear differential equations are discussed. It is proved that all solutions are eventually monotonic and can be extended to infinity under some natural ...

Combining melting curve analysis enhances the multiplexing capability of digital PCR. Here, we developed a 14‐plex assay to simultaneously measure single nucleotide mutations and amplifications of KRAS and GNAS, which are common driver genes in pancreatic cancer precursors. This assay accurately quantified variant allele frequencies in clinical samples
