A stepwise emergence of evolution in the RNA world
How did biological evolution emerge from chemical reactions? This perspective proposes a gradual scenario of self‐organization among RNA molecules, where catalytic feedback on random mixtures plays the central role. Short oligomers cross‐ligate, and self‐assembly enables heritable variations. An event of template‐externalization marks the transition to

THE ANALYSIS OF WARNER BOUNDEDNESS [PDF]
AbstractIn answer to Jarchow’s 1981 text, we recently characterized when $C_{\textrm{c}}(X)$ is a $df$-space, finding along the way attractive analytic characterizations of when the Tychonov space $X$ is pseudocompact. Analogues now reveal how exquisitely Warner boundedness lies between these two notions.

Evolutionary interplay between viruses and R‐loops
Viruses interact with specialized nucleic acid structures called R‐loops to influence host transcription, epigenetic states, latency, and immune evasion. This Perspective examines the roles of R‐loops in viral replication, integration, and silencing, and how viruses co‐opt or avoid these structures.

Mathematical modeling and numerical simulation are valuable tools for getting theoretical insights into dynamic processes such as, for example, within-host virus dynamics or disease transmission between individuals.

Rigidity and flexibility of surface groups [PDF]
The aim of this work is the °exibility of the hyperbolic surfaces. The results are about °exibility and geometrical boundedness. Bers are stated the universal property for all hyperbolic surface of ¯nite area where introduced the constant of boundedness.

We study boundedness properties of a class of multiparameter paraproducts on the dual space of the dyadic Hardy space H_d^1(T^N), the dyadic product BMO space BMO_d(T^N). For this, we introduce a notion of logarithmic mean oscillation on the polydisc. We

On the boundedness of topological categories [PDF]
Let K be a complete and cocomplete category with a given proper (E,M)-factorization. K is called well-bounded if K is moreover bounded with a generator and cowellpowered with respect to the given factorization. Freyd-Kelly proved the following theorem about well-bounded categories: Let K be a well-bounded category and let Γ be a class of cylinders in ...

Disruption of SETD3‐mediated histidine‐73 methylation by the BWCFF‐associated β‐actin G74S mutation
The β‐actin G74S mutation causes altered interaction of actin with SETD3, reducing histidine‐73 methylation efficiency and forming two distinct actin variants. The variable ratio of these variants across cell types and developmental stages contributes to tissue‐specific phenotypical changes. This imbalance may impair actin dynamics and mechanosensitive

Dynamics of a host-pathogen model with constant mortality rate
In this paper, we propose a discrete-time host-pathogen model and study its qualitative behavior. The model is for the spread of an infectious disease with constant mortality rate of hosts.

The wave equation on axisymmetric stationary black hole backgrounds
Understanding the behaviour of linear waves on black hole backgrounds is a central problem in general relativity, intimately connected with the nonlinear stability of the black hole spacetimes themselves as solutions to the Einstein equations--a major ...
