Schematic illustration on a therapeutic strategy wherein engineered extracellular vesicles (EVs) are delivered intranasally and specifically target pericytes. In a model of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (BCAS), this targeted approach preserves cerebral blood flow, reinforces blood‐brain barrier (BBB) integrity, stabilizes the neurovascular unit (NVU),

A recombinant West Nile virus (WNV) subunit vaccine was developed by displaying ED3 on a CTB scaffold. The fusion protein formed soluble nanoparticles in E. coli, eliciting strong, balanced, and specific neutralizing antibodies without cross‐reactivity, offering a safe, scalable subunit vaccine platform.

Demonstration of Vd-Virus by the Fluorescent Antibody Technique in Tissues of Cattle Affected with Bovine Viral Diarrhea (Mucosal Disease) [PDF]
An account is given of immunohistological studies performed on tissue specimens from 59 cattle affected with BVD-MD. The animals had either died or been killed in an advanced state of the disease. From 47 of these animals VD-virus was demonstrated in primary calf kidney cultures inoculated with suspensions of at least one of the following tissues ...

KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

We report on a patient homozygous for a novel autosomal recessive loss‐of‐function CARD11 variant, with susceptibility to live attenuated virus (LAV) vaccines and impaired clearance of multiple naturally acquired respiratory viral infections. Inborn errors of immunity affecting the CARD11‐BCL10‐MALT1 (CBM) complex should be considered in individuals ...
