Parametric topological entropy on orbits of arbitrary multivalued maps in compact Hausdorff spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications
The Adler-Konheim-McAndrew type definitions and the Bowen-Dinaburg-Hood type definitions of parametric topological entropy will be considered on orbits and coincidence orbits of nonautonomous multivalued maps in compact Hausdorff spaces.

Topological entropy for discontinuous semiflows [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2018
We study two variations of Bowen's definitions of topological entropy based on separated and spanning sets which can be applied to the study of discontinuous semiflows on compact metric spaces.

Deciphering the nonlocal entanglement entropy of fracton topological orders [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The ground states of topological orders condense extended objects and support topological excitations. This nontrivial property leads to nonzero topological entanglement entropy $S_{topo}$ for conventional topological orders. Fracton topological order is

Mechanisms of Alkali Ionic Transport in Amorphous Oxyhalides Solid State Conductors

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 16, Issue 28, 22 July 2026.
Large‐scale machine learning‐based molecular dynamics simulations are used to investigate isovalent amorphous oxyhalides, revealing a remarkable chemically independent ionic conductivity. A rigorous analysis of alkali residence times across different metal–anion environments identifies divalent anions as key diffusion bottlenecks.

The topological entropy of endomorphisms of Lie groups [PDF]

open access: yesIsrael Journal of Mathematics, 2017
In this paper, we determine the topological entropy h(φ) of a continuous endomorphism φ of a Lie group G. This computation is a classical topic in ergodic theory which seemed to have long been solved.

Forward Image Registration for Higher Level Interpretation of Zircon Provenance Based on Combined CL, U/Pb Age, and Geochemical Data

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract Most detrital zircon studies generate grayscale cathodoluminescence (CL) images, U/Pb dates, and variably extensive trace element concentration data. Yet the combined information contained in these data is rarely used for a higher‐level interpretation of zircon provenance, which still heavily relies on comparison of sample‐wide U/Pb age ...
