Fluidized-bed gasification of dairy manure by Box–Behnken design
Application of excessive animal manure to the land may cause some environmental problems such as eutrophication of surface waters, degradation of ground water quality, and threats to human health. This paper reports an experimental study on the technology of biomass gasification to treat animal waste by analysing the effects of key

Preparation of superhydrophobic nanocalcite crystals using Box–Behnken design
AbstractSuperhydrophobic nanocalcite crystals were prepared via an adjusted aqueous reaction of CaO, CO2 gas and sodium oleate. Box–Behnken design was used to optimize the preparation parameters such as CaO concentration, CO2 gas flow rate and surfactant concentration. The results revealed that the produced CaCO3 is indexed to the calcite phase.

Design Optimization of Soft Fabric Pneumatic Actuators
This study presents a systematic optimization framework for elongating and bending fabric‐based soft pneumatic actuators. After a preliminary design‐space reduction, the framework minimizes energy consumption under mechanical performance constraints by integrating validated finite element modeling with statistical surrogate models. Optimal designs were

Box–Behnken Design for Polycarbonate-Pigment Blending: Applications and Characterization Techniques
Incorporating pigments into polymers can be done for various purposes, including the introduction of color, interfacial effects, or aesthetics. If these pigments are to disperse properly, then the process of extrusion must be optimized. During polymer compounding extrusion, three effective processing factors were investigated: feed rate (FR), speed (Sp.

Process Optimization of Solution Blow Spinning for Poly (N‐Isopropylacrylamide) Fibers
Solution blow spinning has emerged as a safe and scalable technique for fabricating thermoresponsive PNIPAM fibers. The influence of key parameters on jet stability and fiber uniformity is determined through both rheological analysis and statistical process optimization. A Box–Behnken design reveals an optimized window for producing PNIPAM fibers below
