Optimization of the experimental parameters of fluticasone propionate microparticles for pulmonary delivery using a box behenken design

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Bioallied Sciences, 2012
The objective of this study was to examine extensively the influences of formulation and process variables on the microparticles. The microparticles were generated by the spray-drying technique using polymer chitosan, mannitol along with L-leucine.

Preparation of superhydrophobic nanocalcite crystals using Box–Behnken design

open access: yesArabian Journal of Chemistry, 2019
AbstractSuperhydrophobic nanocalcite crystals were prepared via an adjusted aqueous reaction of CaO, CO2 gas and sodium oleate. Box–Behnken design was used to optimize the preparation parameters such as CaO concentration, CO2 gas flow rate and surfactant concentration. The results revealed that the produced CaCO3 is indexed to the calcite phase.

Advanced Experiment Design Strategies for Drug Development

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Wang et al. analyze 592 drug development studies published between 2020 and 2024 that applied design of experiments methodologies. The review surveys both classical and emerging approaches—including Bayesian optimization and active learning—and identifies a critical gap between advanced experimental strategies and their practical adoption in ...
