Constructing a BPE Tokenization DFA
Many natural language processing systems operate over tokenizations of text to address the open-vocabulary problem. In this paper, we give and analyze an algorithm for the efficient construction of deterministic finite automata (DFA) designed to operate directly on tokenizations produced by the popular byte pair encoding (BPE) technique.

Mutations in the forkhead transcription factor gene 2 (FOXL2) were recently reported to cause blepharophimosis-ptosis-epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES) types I and II. Evidence was provided that BPES type I (eyelid abnormalities and female infertility)

Languages Through the Looking Glass of BPE Compression
AbstractByte-pair encoding (BPE) is widely used in NLP for performing subword tokenization. It uncovers redundant patterns for compressing the data, and hence alleviates the sparsity problem in downstream applications. Subwords discovered during the first merge operations tend to have the most substantial impact on the compression of texts.

Mutations in FOXL2Underlying BPES (Types 1 and 2) in Colombian Families
: We report the genetic characterization ofone family with blepharophimosis-ptosis-epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES) type 1and two families with BPES type 2 from a historically isolated population in north-west Colombia.

bPE toolkit: toolkit for computational protein engineering [PDF]
We present a computational toolkit consisting of five utility tools, for performing basic operations on a protein structure file in PDB format. The toolkit consists of five different programs which can be integrated as part of a pipeline for computational protein structure characterization or as a standalone analysis package. The programs include tools

Application of the BPES to Lane-Emden equations governing polytropic and isothermal gas spheres
We apply the Boubaker Polynomials Expansion Scheme (BPES) in order to obtain analytical-numerical solutions to two separate Lane-Emden problems: the Lane-Emden initial value problem of the first kind (describing the gravitational potential of a self ...
