Traceable Assessment of the Absorbed Power Density of Body Mounted Devices at Frequencies Above 10 GHz

open access: yesBioelectromagnetics, Volume 46, Issue 6, September 2025.
ABSTRACT In this study, a comprehensive approach for the experimental assessment of the absorbed power density (APD) is developed. The method includes several novel components: (i) a specialized probe, (ii) a composite phantom, (iii) a reconstruction technique, (iv) a calibration method, and (v) a validation process.

Design and Characterization of MSAP‐Fabricated Sub‐THz Frequency Selective Surface by Bench‐Top Optoelectronic Measurement System

open access: yesMicrowave and Optical Technology Letters, Volume 67, Issue 9, September 2025.
ABSTRACT A low‐cost and compact benchtop using the off‐the‐shelf optoelectronic (OE) measurement system is presented which is built to measure the performance of a 160 GHz frequency selective surface (FSS). The system uses an optical heterodyne source to excite wireless signals through the ‐D‐band (110–170 GHz), and transmission magnitude is measured ...

Chirp pseudo‐noise signal and its receiving scheme for LEO enhanced GNSS

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2022
Low earth orbit (LEO) constellations for enhancing global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) have been investigated and studied due to their higher floor power and rapid geometric changes. Compared with GNSS based on medium orbit (MEO) and geostationary

Chaos‐based BPSK communication system

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2015
A novel broadband chaos‐based coherent binary phase shift keying (BPSK) communication system is proposed and it is demonstrated that its theoretical probability of error expression matches that of a conventional narrowband BPSK system. The result is confirmed with the corresponding empirical bit error rate (BER) simulation.

The complete mitogenome of Haliotis asinina (Gastropoda, Haliotidae) from Malaysian waters provides further insights into the phylogeny of the abalone

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Marine and Freshwater Research, Volume 59, Issue 1, Page 79-87, March 2025.
ABSTRACT Due to its high economic importance, the aquaculture of abalone has developed significantly as a global industry. However, there is still limited studies of abalone in Malaysia. Therefore, the complete mitochondrial genome of the tropical abalone, Haliotis asinina (Linnaeus 1758) sampled in the Malaysian waters is sequenced and analysed for ...
