The Research of Regenerative Braking Control Strategy for Advanced Braking Force Distribution

2009 Fifth International Conference on Natural Computation, 2009
Regenerative braking system is the characteristic system of electric and hybrid electric vehicle. The system can restore the kinetic energy and potential energy, used during start and accelerating, into battery through electrical machine. A control strategy witch is based on ideal braking force distribution is proposed.

A Robust Servo Electronic Controller for Brake Force Distribution

1989 American Control Conference, 1989
In this paper a control system which achieves ideal brake force distribution between the front and the rear wheels of a vehicle during normal braking is studied. Ideal brake proportioning is achieved by dynamically controlling the rear-wheel speed to track the front-wheel speed.

Study on Braking Force Distribution of Electric Vehicles

2009 Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference, 2009
Braking force distribution of an electric vehicle has an important impact on braking performance and energy recovery. With the analysis of braking dynamics and the establishment of motor model, a braking force distribution strategy is proposed from the viewpoint of maximum energy recovery. From another point of view, how to distribute the braking force

The Influence of Mechanical Losses of Drum Brakes on the Braking Force Distribution

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1989
<div class="htmlview paragraph">It is assumed that braking system of a modern concept motor vehicle should be optimised with respect to a number of different parameters. There are cases where the brake performance under test conditions are significantly below designed (“nominal”) values.

Optimized braking force distribution during a braking-in-turn maneuver for articulated vehicles

2010 International Conference on Mechanical and Electrical Technology, 2010
Improvement in braking performance and vehicle stability can be achieved through the use of braking systems whose brake force distribution is variable. Electronic braking force distribution has an important and serious role in the vehicle stopping distance and stability.
