Measurements of the branching fractions of $${\Xi }_{c}^{+}\to {\Sigma }^{+}{K}_{S}^{0}$$ , $${\Xi }_{c}^{+}\to {\Xi }^{0}{\pi }^{+}$$ , and $${\Xi }_{c}^{+}\to {\Xi }^{0}{K}+$$ at Belle and Belle II

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Using 983.0 fb −1 and 427.9 fb −1 data samples collected with the Belle and Belle II detectors at the KEKB and SuperKEKB asymmetric energy e + e − colliders, respectively, we present studies of the Cabibbo-favored $${\Xi }_{c}^{+}$$ decays $${\Xi }_{c}^{+

Measurement of the absolute branching fraction for Λc+→Λμ+νμ

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
We report the first measurement of the absolute branching fraction for Λc+→Λμ+νμ. This measurement is based on a sample of e+e− annihilation data produced at a center-of-mass energy s=4.6 GeV, collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ...

Actin dynamics controlled by IqgC, a RasGAP at the crossroads between the IQGAP and fungal GAP1 families

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
IqgC is a RasGAP from Dictyostelium discoideum. IqgC binds RasG via its RasGAP domain and deactivates it on macroendocytic cups, thereby suppressing the uptake of fluid and particles. IqgC has a positive effect on cell‐substratum adhesion, and its RGCt domain is required for recruitment to ventral foci.

Measurement of theBs0→Ds(*)+Ds(*)−branching fractions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The branching fraction of the decay B0\ud s → DðÞþ\ud s DðÞ− s is measured using pp collision data corresponding\ud to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1, collected using the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy\ud of 7 TeV. It is found to be BðB0\ud s → DðÞþ\ud s DðÞ− s Þ¼ð3.05 0.10 0.20 0.34Þ%, where the uncertainties\ud are statistical ...

Observation of B^0 Meson Decay to a_1^±(1260)π^∓ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We present a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B^0→a_1^±(1260)π^∓ with a_1^±(1260)→π^∓π^±π^±. The data sample corresponds to 218×10^6 BB pairs produced in e^+e^- annihilation through the Υ(4S) resonance. We measure the branching fraction

Study of B^0 -> rho^0 rho^0 decays, implications for the CKM angle phi_2 and search for other B^0 decay modes with a four-pion final state

open access: yes, 2014
We present a study of the branching fraction of the decay B^0->rho0rho0 and the fraction of longitudinally polarized rho0 mesons in this decay. The results are obtained from the final data sample containing 772 million BBbar pairs collected at the Y(4S ...

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Observation of the B + → Jψη′K + decay

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
The B + → Jψη′K + decay is observed for the first time using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb −1.

Overexpression of CDT1 inhibits cell cycle progression at S phase by interacting with the mini‐chromosome maintenance complex and causes DNA damage

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CDT1 is an essential protein for DNA replication licensing that loads the MCM complex, the eukaryotic replicative DNA helicase, onto replication origins. Overexpression of CDT1 induces cell cycle arrest at the S phase. Here we showed CDT1 inhibits the progression of replication forks by interacting with the MCM complex, leading to the stalling and ...

A general model for analysis of linear and hyperbolic enzyme inhibition mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We developed a general enzyme kinetic model that integrates these six basic inhibition mechanism onto a single one. From this model, we deduced a general enzyme kinetic equation that through modulation of simple parameters, γ (the relative inhibitor affinity for two binding sites) and β (the reactivity of the enzyme–substrate–inhibitor complex), is ...
