Detection of complete and partial chromosome gains and losses by comparative genomic in situ hybridization [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
Comparative genomic in situ hybridization (CGH) provides a new possibility for searching genomes for imbalanced genetic material. Labeled genomic test DNA, prepared from clinical or tumor specimens, is mixed with differently labeled control DNA prepared ...

ATXR5 and ATXR6 restrict meiotic crossover formation within heterochromatin in Arabidopsis

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, Volume 68, Issue 11, Page 4052-4070, November 2026.
The Arabidopsis H3K27 mono‐methyltransferases ATXR5 and ATXR6 repress crossovers within meiotic heterochromatin, are required for heterochromatin condensation and H3K27me1 establishment, and specifically influence the maintenance of DNA methylation in meiocytes.

Metaphase association of mammalian chromosomes

open access: yes, 1987
The association behavior of chromosomes bearing nucleolar organizer region (NOR) and (or) C-heterochromatin in metaphase plates was analyzed. Different species with an informative chromosomal localization of NOR and C-heterochromatin were evaluated ...

Beta‐Arrestin‐2 Binds to Nucleolar Organizing Regions With P2X7 Receptor Stimulation and During Cell Division

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 19, 15 October 2026.
Beta‐Arrestin‐2 but not Beta‐Arrestin‐1 can accumulate in the nucleolus and come in close contact with the Nucleolar Organizing Regions during two distinct processes: P2X7 receptor stimulation (A) and cell division (B). Both seem to be due to loss of nuclear membrane barrier that keeps Beta‐arrestin‐2 out of the nucleus.

Structural Breaks in Trade and Income Per Capita in ASEAN-5 Countries: An Application of Innovational Outlier Models [PDF]

open access: yes
The founder members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN-5) – Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore – increasingly adopted outward-oriented policies in trade and investment by enforcing reforms in the mid-1980s ...

Real Time Detection of Structural Breaks in GARCH Models [PDF]

open access: yes
A sequential Monte Carlo method for estimating GARCH models subject to an unknown number of structural breaks is proposed. Particle filtering techniques allow for fast and efficient updates of posterior quantities and forecasts in real time.

Quantification of average strand breaks per DNA molecule without DMSO.

open access: yes, 2014
There were two independent experiments (blue ▪ and magenta ▴). (A) The mean number of double-strand breaks per DNA molecule (XDSB) to accumulated decays per plasmid.

Detrending procedures and cointegration testing: ECM tests under structural breaks [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
It is well known that all the test for unit roots and cointegration depend on the deterministic elements that are in mean of the variables; constant, trend, breaks, outliers, segmented trends, etc. This is a serious inconvenient for empirical work.

Unit Roots and Structural Breaks: A Survey of the Literature [PDF]

open access: yes
Since Perron (1989) the time series literature has emphasised the importance of testing for structural breaks in typical economic data sets and pronounced the implications of structural breaks when testing for unit root processes. In this paper we survey
