The Bresse system in thermoelasticity
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2014In this paper, we consider the Bresse system coupled with the Fourier law of heat conduction. We prove that the decay rate of the solution is very slow. In fact, we show that the L2‐norm of the solution decays with the rate of (1 + t)−1/12 similar to the one obtained for the Timoshenko system.

Bresse system with infinite memories
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2014Summary: In this paper, we consider a one-dimensional linear Bresse system with infinite memories acting in the three equations of the system. We establish well-posedness and asymptotic stability results for the system under some conditions imposed into the relaxation functions regardless to the speeds of wave propagations.

The asymptotic behavior of the Bresse–Cattaneo system
Communications in Contemporary Mathematics, 2016In this paper, we investigate the decay properties of the Bresse–Cattaneo system in the whole space. We show that the coupling of the Bresse system with the heat conduction of the Cattaneo theory leads to a loss of regularity of the solution and we prove that the decay rate of the solution is very slow.

On the stability of a thermodiffusion Bresse system
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 2022In this work, we investigate a Bresse system with thermal and mass diffusion effects. First, we establish the existence of a unique solution for the problem using the semigroup theory. Then, we show the lack of exponential stability in the case of different wave speeds.
