Is it easy for producers to market organic beef meat ? The case of Biobourgogne Viande (France). [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
This contribution aims to present the results of a French case-study analysis - BioBourgogne Viande - carried up by members of three research teams in the framework of the European Program OMIaRD (Organic Marketing Initiatives and Rural Development ...

A three thousand year succession of plant communities on a valley bottom in the Vosges Mountains, NE France, reconstructed from fossil pollen, plant macrofossils, and modern phytosociological communities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Pollen and macrofossils were studied in a core from a fen at the foot of a slope in the Vosges Mountains, NE France. The present-day vegetation of little disturbed Abies, Fagus, and Picea forest and wetlands has been described in detail in terms of ...

New Stability Criterion for the Dissipative Linear System and Analysis of Bresse System [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2018
In this article, we introduce a new approach to obtain the property of the dissipative structure for a system of differential equations. If the system has a viscosity or relaxation term which possesses symmetric property, Shizuta and Kawashima in 1985 introduced the suitable stability condition called in this article Classical Stability Condition for ...

EXPONENTIAL DECAY OF THERMO-ELASTIC BRESSE SYSTEM WITH DISTRIBUTED DELAY TERM

open access: yesHacettepe Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, 2017
Summary: The paper considered here is one-dimensional linear thermo-elastic Bresse system with a distributed delay term in the first equation. We prove the well-posedness and exponential stability result, this later will be shown without the usual assumption on the wave speeds. To achieve our goals, we make use of the semi-group method.

Evolution of the lithosphere in the area of the Rhine Rift System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The Rhine Rift System (RRS) forms part of the European Cenozoic Rift System (ECRIS) and transects the Variscan Orogen, Permo-Carboniferous troughs and Late Permian to Mesozoic thermal sag basins. Crustal and lithospheric thicknesses range in the RRS area

Semiconductor structural damage attendant to contact formation in III-V solar cells [PDF]

open access: yes
In order to keep the resistive losses in solar cells to a minimum, it is often necessary for the ohmic contacts to be heat treated to lower the metal-semiconductor contact resistivity to acceptable values. Sintering of the contacts, however can result in

Non-equilibrium thermodynamics of damped Timoshenko and damped Bresse systems

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, we cast damped Timoshenko and damped Bresse systems into a general framework for non-equilibrium thermodynamics, namely the GENERIC (General Equation for Non-Equilibrium Reversible-Irreversible Coupling) framework. The main ingredients of GENERIC consist of five building blocks: a state space, a Poisson operator, a dissipative operator ...
