Inverse Design of Mirror‐Symmetric Disordered Systems for Broadband Perfect Transmission

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 11, 5 June 2026.
This work introduces an inverse design approach to achieve broadband perfect wave transmission in mirror‐symmetric disordered media. Leveraging symmetry simplifies optimization and enables control of multiple reflectionless states. Experiments in microwave waveguides confirm the design of exceptional points, bandpass filters, and broadband quasi ...

Frozen Differential Scattering in Reconfigurable Complex Media

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 11, 5 June 2026.
A localized perturbation universally results in a rank‐one update of the scattering matrix of any complex medium. The resulting differential output wavefront is “frozen”: its spatial pattern is fixed (agnostic to the input wavefront). Experiments with a programmable‐metasurface‐parametrized wireless link validate frozen differential scattering and ...

Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping of the Cervical Spinal Cord at 3T and Application to Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 39, Issue 6, June 2026.
We adapted to the spinal cord (SC) an MRI technique called quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) to produce the first high‐resolution axial QSM maps of the cervical SC. Applied to multiple sclerosis, it reveals differences between gray matter, white matter, and lesions, suggesting its potential for improved lesion characterization.

Seismic imaging of the critical zone of dolerite dykes at Cap Fréhel in Brittany (France)

open access: yesNear Surface Geophysics, Volume 24, Issue 3, Page 262-288, June 2026.
Abstract In June 2023, we measured ten near‐surface seismic profiles to image the critical zone of dolerite (diabase) dykes that cut the sandstone at Cap Fréhel in Brittany (France). Seismic ray tracing and inversion are used to determine the thickness of the regolith layer from first‐arrival P‐wave traveltimes.

Pharmacologic MRI Brain Imaging Studies of Serotonin 5‐HT1 Receptor Agonists in Awake Mice

open access: yesPharmacology Research &Perspectives, Volume 14, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Serotonin (5‐hydroxytryptamine, 5‐HT) type‐1 G protein‐coupled receptors are expressed throughout the central nervous system. 5‐HT1AR activation is the putative mechanism of approved drugs for generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder and is being studied in the treatment of autism and neurological disorders.
