Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.RKIP, a metastasis suppressor protein, modulates key oncogenic pathways in lung adenocarcinoma. In silico analyses linked low RKIP expression to poor survival. Functional studies revealed RKIP overexpression reduces tumor aggressiveness and enhances sensitivity to EGFR‐targeted therapies, while its loss promotes resistance.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

CD9‐association with PIP2 areas is regulated by a CD9 salt bridge
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.The tetraspanin CD9 has an intracellular salt bridge. If CD9 opens, open‐CD9 moves from PIP2‐rich areas to regions populated by its interaction partner EWI‐2. Hence, the state of the salt bridge regulates the distribution of CD9 and by this CD9‐EWI‐2 complex formation.

Osmotic pressure‐induced calcium response states
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Acute hypotonic stress triggers distinct calcium response patterns in HEK293T cells. These signals originate from the endoplasmic reticulum via RyR2 and propagate to neighboring cells through gap junctions. This result highlights a novel calcium‐dependent mechanism underlying the intracellular and intercellular response to osmotic pressure.
