The effect of consistency on the optical properties of hydrogen peroxide bleached CMP pulp [PDF]
Using high consistency pulp especially in bleaching plant is highly attractive due to considerable reduction in energy and water consumptions and low effluent volume.

Identification of Bright Lenses from the Astrometric Observations of Gravitational Microlensing Events [PDF]
When a source star is gravitationally microlensed by a dark lens, the centroid of the source star image is displaced relative to the position of the unlensed source star with an elliptical trajectory. Recently, routine astrometric follow-up measurements of these source star image centroid shifts by using high precision interferometers are proposed to ...

Looking on the Bright Side: Replicating the Association between Brightness and Positivity
The present study is a pre-registered replication of a study by Specker et al. (2018) that tests the hypothesis that brightness of colors is associated with positivity.

A Comparison Between Alkali Peroxide and Activated Peroxide Processes in Bleaching Hardwoods Chemi-mechanical Pulp [PDF]
Unbleached chemi-mechanical pulp of 85% pulp yield and produced from hornbeam, beech and populus woods respectively by 3:1:1 ratio, was used for peroxide bleaching. Two bleaching systems, alkali peroxide (conventional bleaching) and activated peroxide by

Trends of Color Research in Consumer Behavior
This study identifies recent trends in research on color by reviewing the literature since 2015. A review was conducted on four major categories of color research: hue, lightness, chroma, and monochrome vs. color.

Low Temperature Soda-Oxygen Pulping of Bagasse
Wood shortages, environmental pollution and high energy consumption remain major obstacles hindering the development of today’s pulp and paper industry. Energy-saving and environmental friendly pulping processes are still needed, especially for non-woody

Bright entanglement in the intracavity nonlinear coupler [PDF]
We show that the intracavity Kerr nonlinear coupler is a potential source of bright continuous variable entangled light beams which are tunable and spatially separated. This system may be realised with integrated optics and thus provides a potentially rugged and stable source of bright entangled beams.
