A broadband planar antenna

2008 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2008
A broadband planar antenna with stable radiation patterns is presented. It consists of a suspended radiator fed by a vertical feed through an n-shaped microstrip. The measured impedance bandwidth is 3.1-5.1 GHz for a return loss of |S11| < -10 dB, and an average gain of 7.7 dBi is achieved. There is no beam squinting across the operating frequency band.

Broadband/Multiband Printed Antennas

IEICE Transactions on Communications, 2005
Broadening the frequency bandwidth of antennas has been one of the major subjects concerning antenna design technologies. Two of the major subjects for microstrip antennas, which appeared in the 1970s, have also been the broadening of the frequency bandwidth and the sharing of multifrequency bands. In this paper, we describe the broadband and multiband

The study on microstrip antenna with miniaturization and broadband

2011 4th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI), 2011
As the entrance, the antenna has the most direct impacts on their performances of wireless communication system. Microstrip antenna has considerable potential value in communication application by virtue of compact-structure, low-profile, light-weight, small-volume, easy to be fabricated and integrated with microwave integrated circuits.

Broadband Optical Antenna with a Disk Structure

Passive Components and Fiber-Based Devices, 2011
Broadband optical antennas are of interest as they can transmit more information like traditional microwave UWB antennas. This paper presents a design of broadband optical antennas with a concentric disk structure. An equivalent circuit for the optical antenna with a disk structure is introduced.

Overview of Research on Broadband of Dipole Antenna

2019 IEEE 19th International Conference on Communication Technology (ICCT), 2019
The methods of realizing broadband of dipole antenna are summarized and analyzed. Due to the narrow operating frequency band of the dipole antenna, in order to improve the bandwidth of the dipole antenna and improve its spectrum efficiency, the broadband of the dipole antenna is studied. This is also in line with the research trend of broadband antenna.

Design of Miniaturized Broadband Patch Antenna

Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Computing and Wireless Communication Systems, 2017
In this study, we present a novel type of compact and broadband patch antenna configuration. The size reduction is obtaining without changing frequency thanks to etched six slots in antenna ground plane. Indeed, the electromagnetic volume of the antenna remains unchanged even the area of the ground plane is decreasing.

Compact broadband stacked microstrip antennas

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2005
Various stacked broadband microstrip antennas using compact variations of the rectangular microstrip antenna, such as C-shaped, H-shaped, square-ring and S-shaped antennas, are proposed. The effects of using combinations of these compact antennas as a fed or stacked element on the bandwidth, gain, and radiation pattern of the antenna are discussed ...
