AbstractAdsorption isotherms of aqueous bromhexine hydrochloride (BHCI) were determined for activated charcoal, kaolin, elcema, avicel PH 101 and 102. The affinity of BHCI adsorption on charcoal was the highest followed by kaolin, avicel, elcema in a decreasing order. The pH alteration affected the adsorption on charcoal slightly.
