Polydatin Relieves Airway Remodeling by Inhibiting P2X7R–NLRP3‐Mediated Excessive Autophagy in Asthma

open access: yesImmunity, Inflammation and Disease, Volume 14, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Asthma is characterized by chronic airway inflammation and remodeling. Polydatin (PD), a natural compound, has shown anti‐inflammatory potential, but its role in asthma‐related airway remodeling and the underlying mechanisms involving the P2X7R–NLRP3 inflammasome axis and autophagy remain unclear.

Ginkgolide B Alleviates Airway Inflammation in Hyperoxia Lung Injury

open access: yesImmunity, Inflammation and Disease, Volume 14, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a chronic lung disease characterized by inflammation, often caused by prolonged hyperoxia exposure in preterm infants. Platelet‐activating factor (PAF) is a potent inflammatory mediator, but its role in BPD is unclear.

An Evaluation of a Molecular Point‐of‐Care Testing System Designed for Early Diagnosis of Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infections

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, Volume 40, Issue 8, April 2026.
On the basis of RT‐qPCR results, 549 oropharyngeal swabs were classified into four groups: MP‐positive (n = 109), MP‐negative (n = 160), RSV‐positive (n = 122), and RSV‐negative (n = 158). Using these as the reference standard, we evaluated a molecular point‐of‐care testing (mPOCT) system (EasyNAT) for simultaneous MP and RSV detection.

Hepatotoxicity Associated with Labetalol Use: A Case Report with Systematic Review and Disproportionality Analysis Using FAERS

open access: yesThe Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 66, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Labetalol is widely prescribed as a first‐line antihypertensive in pregnancy; however, rare but potentially severe idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity has been reported, with a disproportionately strong reporting signal for liver injury relative to other β‐blockers.
