Bronchial Involvement by Hodgkin Disease
Tumori Journal, 1978Two cases of Hodgkin disease, lymphocyte depletion type, with bronchial involvement are described. One patient revealed involvement of the right upper lobar bronchus, the other patient of the left main bronchus. The correct diagnosis was made by fiberbronchoscope examination with cytologic brushing and biopsy.

Bronchial Collapse in Obstructive Lung Disease
Chest, 1981A 57-year-old man who died suddenly with severe bilateral mainstem bronchial collapse is described, and an alteration of the elastic tissue in the membranous portion of the bronchi is identified. The morphologic abnormalities, physiologic dynamics, and potential clinical consequences of such an alteration are discussed.

Neurogenic mechanisms in bronchial inflammatory diseases
Allergy, 2004Neurogenic inflammation encompasses the release of neuropeptides from airway nerves leading to inflammatory effects. This neurogenic inflammatory response of the airways can be initiated by exogenous irritants such as cigarette smoke or gases and is characterized by a bi‐directional linkage between airway nerves and airway inflammation.

Bronchial Brush Biopsy in Hodgkin's Disease
Chest, 1974Twenty-six bronchial brush biopsies were performed in 21 patients with Hodgkin's disease. In most, brush biopsy was performed to differentiate between tumor, infection or the effects of radiation. In 17 bronchial brushings where Hodgkin's disease was subsequently shown to involve the lung, diagnosis of tumor was made in only four brush biopsies. In the
