Rescue Surgery for Advanced Stage Lung Cancer: A Systematic Review
Rescue surgery is a last resort treatment for patients with advanced lung cancer to treat acute and life‐threatening complications. Our review showed a mean survival of 12 months and a high complication rate (51%), the risk–benefit imbalance should always be considered.
