Advantage of Sleeve Right Lower Lobectomy for Lung Cancer in COPD Patients: A Case Series
Sleeve right lower lobectomy (SRLL) may preserve postoperative pulmonary function better than standard procedures in selected lung cancer patients with COPD. This approach could be a useful surgical option when both oncologic safety and lung function preservation are prioritized. ABSTRACT Sleeve right lower lobectomy (SRLL) is an uncommon procedure for

Salvage Lobectomy to Treat Necrotizing SARS-CoV-2 Pneumonia Complicated by a Bronchopleural Fistula
We report a case of necrotizing severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pneumonia complicated by a bronchopleural fistula and treated by decortication and salvage lobectomy. Owing to the unknown characteristics of the underlying SARS-

Bilateral Pneumothoraces During Nasogastric Tube Placement: A Case Report
Nasogastric tube (NGT) insertion is common in inpatient and critical care management. Though NGT and nasoenteric tube insertions provide additional options for enteric feeding or medication administration, they are not without risk. Respiratory complications, especially pneumothorax, are a recurrent concern, especially with blind placement of NGTs.
