The chimeric RNA ERCC1‐iASPP possesses dual coding and non‐coding functions, synergistically accelerating the process of cellular malignant transformation. Abstract Genetic variation at 19q13.3 critically modulates chemical carcinogen‐induced lung carcinogenesis, particularly in mediating the activity of benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P), a major polycyclic ...

Somatostatin receptors 3 and 5 potentiate cholinergic-nerve-mediated contraction in human bronchus
AimThe role of somatostatin (SST) in the modulation of cholinergic neurotransmission has not been explored previously in human bronchi. We investigated the effects of SST, selective agonists of the five SST receptors SSTR, and octreotide (a SSTR2,3,5 ...

Turban Pin Inhalation Syndrome with Unusually Mobile Pin from Series of Radiographs [PDF]
Foreign Bodies (FB) dislodges are common in the ear, nose and throat especially among infants and children. Occasionally, they can accidentally be ended up in the bronchus as well.

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a progressive condition with high morbidity and mortality, largely owing to right ventricular (RV) failure resulting from maladaptive remodeling. Our study provides strong evidence in support of a critical, detrimental role for AXL as a previously unrecognized determinant driving RV fibrotic pathology in PH.

Tumor evolution in lung adenocarcinoma is shaped by genetic alterations and spatial immune dynamics. By integrating whole‐exome sequencing, imaging mass cytometry, and spatial transcriptomics across two mouse models, this study reveals how mutational burden, immune infiltration, and cell–state interactions evolve during early and late carcinogenesis ...

This study elucidates a novel mechanistic role of the deubiquitinase OTUD6A in asthma pathogenesis, uncovering its regulatory function in airway inflammation and airway remodeling through the stabilization of hResistin/mRELMα. This study offers a novel regulatory axis (OTUD6A‐hResistin/mRELMα) in asthma pathogenesis and OTUD6A inhibition as a potential

This study demonstrates that BNNT exposure disrupts lipid homeostasis in bronchial epithelial cell cultures and activates eicosanoid lipid biosynthesis, producing inflammatory lipid mediators like leukotrienes. These effects are more pronounced in asthmatic cell cultures compared to healthy ones.

Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Soft Bioelectronics for Self‐Powered Respiration Monitoring
Artificial intelligence‐driven soft bioelectronics for self powered respiration monitoring based on triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs), piezoelectric nanogenerators (PENGs), and magnetoelastic generators (MEGs) enable continuous and multi‐scenario respiratory biomechanical data collection. Coupled with machine learning and big data driven diagnostics,
