Single‐Molecule Characterization of Bacterial Factor‐Dependent Transcription Activation by Rob

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Factor‐dependent transcription activation is crucial and involves complex interactions between transcription factors, RNA polymerase, and promoter DNA. Using single‐molecule assays, we show that Rob prebinds RNAP to facilitate promoter search and enhances DNA unwinding and promoter escape.

Biomimetic Nanoplatform for Dual Target Nano‐Metabolic Therapy in Diabetes‐Associated Biofilm Infections

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic GOx/Arg‐loaded nanoplatform produces nitric oxide through an in situ catalytic cascade reaction, enabling dual‐target metabolic regulation in diabetes‐associated biofilm infections. Bacterial metabolism is disrupted, and macrophage immunometabolism is reprogrammed, resulting in biofilm eradication, immune restoration, and enhanced ...

Mn2+ Ion‐Mediated Zn Dendrite Suppression and Reversible Stripping in Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries as Revealed by In Situ Liquid‐Cell TEM

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In situ EC‐LPTEM directly visualizes how Mn2+ ions regulate Zn electrodeposition and dissolution in aqueous electrolytes. Mn2+ suppresses heterogeneous growth and dendritic elongation while promoting more reversible stripping. These findings reveal additive‐regulated interfacial processes during Zn deposition and dissolution and provide guidance for ...

Time Resolved DNA Barcodes for Information Encoding and Dynamic Encryption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes a molecular information platform based on DNA Temporal Barcodes. Information is encoded through combinations of DNA tags with distinct retention times, while dynamic encryption is achieved through a key‐triggered DNA ligation.

Continuous‐Flow Microfluidic Synthesis Enhances C2+ Selectivity for Cu2O Catalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microfluidic devices are used to prepare Cu2O nanoparticles under laminar flow conditions, which exhibit enhanced selectivity in the CO2‐to‐C2+ reaction due to their nanoporosity and high defect concentration. Cu2O prepared using standard solution methods displays decreased CO2‐to‐C2+ selectivity due to the absence of similar properties. Altogether, we

Gas Holdup and Liquid-Phase Dispersion in Packed Bubble Columns

open access: yesTikrit Journal of Engineering Sciences, 2013
The gas holdup and liquid phase axial dispersion coefficient are measured in two semi batch packed bubble columns, 10 and 15 cm diameter for an air–water system, at atmospheric conditions.

Ubiquitination of ACSL4 by Parkin Suppresses Ferroptosis and Rescues Glucocorticoid‐Induced Bone Loss

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GCs reduce Parkin, leading to ACSL4 accumulation and PUFA‐phospholipid‐driven ferroptosis in BMSCs, which impairs osteogenesis and promotes adipogenesis, causing GIOP. Parkin restoration (via OE‐Parkin or Parkin‐LNP@DSS6) ubiquitinates and degrades ACSL4, inhibiting ferroptosis, rescuing bone formation, and rescues GIOP bone loss.

SOX5 Orchestrates Malignant Evolution via Promoter‐Centric Chromatin Remodeling in MYC‐Driven B‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In MYC‐enforced B‐cell lymphoma, SOX5 occupies promoter‐proximal regulatory regions and is associated with reduced chromatin accessibility at the PCNP locus. PCNP repression promotes proliferative remodeling by limiting apoptosis and cell‐cycle restraint.

Metal Battery Anode: Rich in Electrons, Rich in Problems: A Critical Review from Industrial Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metal‐anode batteries using Li, Na, Mg, and Ca offer exceptionally high energy density, but dendrites, unstable interphases, cracking, and pore formation hinder durability and safety. This review shows how careful electrolyte and interphase design can stabilize these reactive metals.
